Fischer vs Bronstein vs US Delay
Fischer increment adds the full set amount after every move, so a player's remaining time can grow. Bronstein delay also rewards quick moves, but it only returns the time used, up to the delay, so the clock never rises above its pre-move value. US Delay works differently: the main clock simply waits for the delay period before counting down. All three reduce time pressure, but Fischer can build extra time, Bronstein refunds used time, and US Delay pauses the countdown at the start of each turn.
